About this tournament
The East Wheatland Athletic Association (EWAA) Coyotes are excited to welcome teams to the inaugural Howl On Ice Tournament, February 5–7, 2027, at the Standard-Rosebud Arena and the Hussar Arena. Howl On Ice brings together U11, U15 and U18 teams for a full weekend of small-town hockey, great competition and plenty of fun. Each division will feature a four-team round robin, guaranteeing every team three preliminary games before Championship Sunday, when teams hit the ice for the gold and bronze medal games. Every game players will be recognized with MVP and Heart & Hustle awards, teams will compete for championship prizes, and there will be tournament swag, raffles, an NHL player draw, 50/50s, on site professional photography, and more happening around the arenas.
